What's In A Name?
Hello and Welcome to my Website!
On first encounter, many people find my name a little difficult to pronounce, so lets start there:
né-hé-sigh-u: an ancient egyptian name meaning "awaken the people"
it's a little song, same number of syllables as "never saw you" & contains the sound of the word "sigh"
once people get it they never forget my name. after all how many nehassaiu's do you know? I even have a website in my own name. can't beat that.
di-ganz: a caribbean surname of french origin
it's been anglicized in the english-speaking caribbean, which is where I'm from, and rhymes with "the hands."
